Cooking with gas safely

Gas appliances are proliferating in homes all over.  Once gas lines ran into houses to just furnaces, water heaters, and stoves.  Now these lines are running to outdoor grills, fireplaces, and generators.  That’s a lot of pipes and connections throughout the house.  You may find yourself wanting to inspect these lines periodically.

First, if you’re interested in an inspection because you’re smelling gas, stop.  Get everyone out of the house and call your gas supplier.  The smell of gas means you definitely have a leak and only the gas company can fix that for you.

However, if you want the security of knowing your fireplace will work correctly the first time you light it or if the gas fixture to your grill got bumped, give us a call. We’ll make sure everything is still properly connected and not leaking so you can have peace of mind.

If you have a new appliance and need a line installed for it, we can take care of that work too.  You can trust our knowledge and experience.
